Dr. Benjamin Hulse
D.D.S
Dr. Benjamin Hulse graduated Valedictorian from Utah Valley University in 2002, and from University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2006 where his research into the treatment of oral yeast infections in HIV patients was published. Dr. Benjamin Hulse knows how to make a big impression on patients. After serving in the U.S. Army where he was a dental captain and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, he opened a dental practice in Tennessee and was voted the best dentist in town by residents after only one year in business, and again every year thereafter until he and his family relocated to Utah Valley in 2013. His Salem Smiles office was selected best dental practice in Utah County in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. This practice was sold at the end of 2018 as Dr Hulse decided to relocate his practice to Lehi. Before Floss Family Dentistry had been open for even a year, it had already been voted the best dental practice in Utah County in Utah Valley Magazine for 2021 and 2022. Dr. Hulse’s expertise, research contributions and friendly personality led him to be named one of the top 40 dentists under 40 nationally by Incisal Edge magazine, a publication for dentists.
Dr. Jason Coakley
D.D.S
Dr. Jason Coakley grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois and then moved to Utah to attend college at the University of Utah. From there, he went on to pursue his aspirations of dental school at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine. During school, Dr. Coakley, participated in many community outreach programs focused on pediatric patients, refugees and patients in addiction recovery programs. After dental school, he joined Floss Family Dentistry to work as an associate. Dr. Coakley is happy to be in Utah with his wife Sarah and two boys Jude and Desmond. He enjoys skiing, rock climbing and traveling. Dr. Coakley’s priority is working alongside his patients to help achieve their ideal and healthy smile.
Dr. Ryan Hamilton
D.D.S
Dr. Ryan Hamilton is a Utah native, born and raised in Springville. He attended Utah Valley State College (now UVU) where he worked on undergraduate studies while playing centerfield on the baseball team. He then transferred to Brigham Young University, where he majored in Biology, and completed requisite studies to apply to dental school. Upon completion, he attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, in Lincoln, graduating Summa Cum Laude, with Highest Distinction, in 2001, and was subsequently inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Following graduation, Dr. Hamilton returned to Springville, and began practicing general dentistry in the surrounding area. In 2002, he founded East Mountain Dental, in the Southeast Provo/ Ironton area. The practice grew rapidly as a result of Dr. Hamilton's commitment to high quality, compassionate care. Throughout his career, Dr. Hamilton has found enjoyment in many aspects of dentistry, in particular being one of the few local early adopters of Digital CAD/CAM Dentistry. Some of his most fulfilling career experiences came through sharing knowledge and ideas with colleagues, both in person, and online, as a mentor with cerecdoctors.com on the Spear Education campus in Scottsdale, AZ. The greatest amount of satisfaction, however, has always come from using the skills he's acquired to help improve patient's lives.
In 2005, Dr. Hamilton and his wife, Becky, moved their family a short distance to Mapleton. There they raised their four children (Mickelle 30, Colton 28, Hailey 24, and Carson 22) and now the family has grown to include six (soon to be 8) grandchildren.
In April 2024, due to a myriad of circumstances, Ryan sold East Mountain Dental and joined Dr. Hulse and the outstanding team at Floss Family Dentistry. He brings with him over two decades of experience and plans to continue providing the same exceptional, compassionate care, surrounded by the incredible staff at Floss Family Dental.
When Ryan is not working, he loves spending time with his six grandchildren. He enjoys woodworking (aka tool collecting), and has always loved fishing, hunting, 4 Wheeling, and just being outdoors.
